1. About NDKids
NDKids is an educational platform operated by MoodHelp Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide resources to help children, young people, and families understand neurodiversity, including a free Learn library, parenting playbooks, interactive tools, printable resources, and digital products.
2. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using NDKids, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you are under 18, please ensure a parent or guardian has read and understood these terms.
3. Our content
NDKids provides educational content about neurodiversity. This content is written and reviewed by qualified professionals, but it is important to understand:
- Our content is educational, not clinical. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Reading our content does not create a clinical, therapeutic, or professional relationship between you and MoodHelp Ltd or any of its contributors.
- Our content does not replace assessment, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
- If you have concerns about your child's development, health, or wellbeing, always consult a qualified professional such as your GP, paediatrician, or child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS).
We make every effort to ensure our content is accurate, evidence-based, and up to date. However, neuroscience and clinical understanding evolve, and we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the very latest research at all times.
4. Intellectual property
All content on NDKids — including text, illustrations, card deck designs, printable worksheets, and interactive tools — is the intellectual property of MoodHelp Ltd unless otherwise stated.
- Free content (the Learn library, parenting playbooks, and toolkit pages) may be read, shared via link, and referenced for personal and educational use.
- Printable resources may be printed for use within your family or classroom. They may not be redistributed digitally, sold, or included in commercial products.
- You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content in any format — including copying substantial portions into other websites, apps, or publications — without written permission from MoodHelp Ltd.
5. Digital products
Digital products purchased through the NDKids shop (such as print-at-home card decks) are subject to the following terms:
- You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to download and use the product within your household or classroom.
- You may print copies for your own family or class. You may not share the digital files with others, upload them to file-sharing services, or sell printed copies.
- Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you acknowledge that by downloading a digital product you are requesting immediate access to digital content, and you lose your right to cancel once the download begins.
- If a product is faulty or substantially not as described, you may contact us for a replacement or refund.
6. Membership
When membership features launch, the following terms will apply:
- Membership is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually, as selected at sign-up.
- You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
- Free library content remains accessible to everyone, regardless of membership status. Membership provides access to additional tools, printables, and features.
- Prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.
7. Acceptable use
When using NDKids, you agree not to:
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or download our content in bulk.
- Attempt to access restricted areas of the site, other users' accounts, or our servers.
- Reproduce or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Use the site in any way that could harm, disrupt, or overload our services.
- Misrepresent NDKids content as your own or as professional clinical advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- NDKids and MoodHelp Ltd are not liable for any clinical, educational, or parenting decisions made based on our content. Our content is educational and should be used alongside, not instead of, professional advice.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected by these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you have a statutory right to bring a claim in a different jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we make changes that materially affect your rights, we will notify you via the site or by email if you are a subscriber.
