What are common challenges with the memory keeper?

Forgetting steps mid-task Losing track of what you were doing Struggling to follow long instructions

What can I try to help with the memory keeper?

When someone gives you instructions, repeat them back out loud: "So I need to go upstairs, get my shoes, and come back?" This forces your brain to process the information actively and gives the other person a chance to correct any gaps. Carry a small notebook or use a notes app as your "external brain." Write things down the instant you think of them — do not trust "I will remember later." Ask people to give you one instruction at a time. You can say: "Can you tell me the first step? I will come back for the next one when I have done it." Use sticky notes in locations where you need to remember things — a note on the front door saying "PE kit" works better than trying to remember at 7am.
